NEWS - Yogen Fruz blasts into Brisbane2009-01-05

Fro-yo lovers crammed into the Albert Street Yogen Fruz store in unprecedented numbers vying to be one of the first to wrap their lips around the unforgettable Yogen Fruz taste sensation.

It was the Brisbane store’s grand opening last Friday and crowds turned out to celebrate the launch of Yogen Fruz, the world’s favourite frozen yogurt, in Australia.

The Nova Sandies lead the charge and made sure everyone in the city knew that the yummy and guilt-free Yogen Fruz was finally open! From eating comps to fro-yo obstacle courses the city was a blend of ‘fruz’d’ faces and everyone had a blast.

“It was such an amazing day, I think the whole city turned out to try their first Yogen Fruz and they all loved it!” said Yogen Fruz Director, Jenelle Moloney. “The most popular item was definitely the strawberry banana blend it they just flew out the door,” said Jenelle.

But the hype wasn’t contained to just one store. Rather than launching a singular outlet, Yogen Fruz opened two at once! Savvy Logan Hyperdome customers have also been enjoying blending it up with some fro-yo.

“The Hyperdome store is buzzing! People are loving frozen yogurt, it’s the perfect summer snack,” said Jenelle.

But Yogen fruz is definitely not stopping at just two stores, there are plans for expansion so you won’t have to wait to try it for yourself. On the horizon are stores at Robina and North Lakes in Queensland and in New South Wales, Horsby and Chatswood will be blending it in no time.
